It's still a reskin of mafia 3, but I am surprised that hangar 13 made a playable in comparison to mafia 3. I Don't know man, never played Mafia 1 (original) played only the definitive, I am a big fan of mafia 2 and when I played the Definitive edition I really liked it. Plus the ending seems more nice than the one in the original.

I would say for those who love the original more, you have the right to but you really can’t say Mafia DE is bad either because it is just as good or some might think it is better than the original. Everything in Mafia DE works hard even if it reused most of the gameplay things in Mafia 3 and made it more linear for a story driven game instead of an open world, take over territories type game. The graphics also drastically improved and the new Tommy looks way better.

Paulie instantly became one of my favorite characters due to how funny at times he can be like Joe Barbaro and is a loyal brother to the end.

Sam was your generic mafioso who is willing to do anything for the family but in the Definite Edition, he developed into a brother you’d have to eventually put down. I feel like it adds more character to each of the different characters in the game like Sam or Paulie.
